How to become a WING Member

The purpose of WING is to facilitate and develop the insurance brokerage activities of its Members and Affiliated Members and to enable them to provide their mutual clients and prospects with comprehensive and responsive service by a non-bureaucratic global network which has an interactive exchange of market know-how.

WING is in favour of having at least two members domiciled in every country.  Where we currently have one member and we receive more than two applications in that country we look at each company on its own individual merit and also consult with the WING members already established in that country.

For your information, the Annual WING Membership is currently €1,500 (plus any bank costs to transfer to the WING account). This includes attendance at one Assembly per year (excluding hotel accommodation).  The cost to attend a second Assembly in the same year is €500 (excluding hotel accommodation).  We usually have two General Assemblies per year, one in the Spring and one in the Autumn. The principal General Assembly is held in the Spring, preferably hosted by a different Member each year, with the expectation that all the Members will attend.  The second General Assembly is held in the latter half of the year in Europe.

What you need to do
Should you wish to start the membership process, please complete the WING application form and return, along with a copy of your current PI/E&O insurance certificate to :

Name:  Christina Holzinger

Email address: C.Holzinger@buechner-barella.de

The completed application will then be discussed at the next Board meeting (these are usually held every 3-4 months) and we will respond shortly afterwards with their decision.  If successful, you will be invited to attend the next WING Conference (either Spring or Autumn) to present to the WING Members your company details.  A vote by the Members will take place straight after.

We look forward to receiving the completed application in due course.
